1700MM SLIDING SHOWER DOORS
1700mm Sliding Shower Doors
Complete a wide shower recess with our collection of 1700mm sliding shower doors. Their sliding action provides convenient access without requiring an outward-opening door, making efficient use of the surrounding bathroom space.
Compare chrome sliding doors from Crown, Lakes and Hudson Reed, with different glass specifications, frame styles, adjustment ranges and entrance widths.
For Wide Shower Spaces
The 1700mm nominal width is designed for larger recessed shower areas and spacious bathroom layouts.
Space-Saving Opening
Sliding panels remain within the line of the enclosure and do not swing out across the bathroom floor.
Chrome Finish
The current collection uses bright chrome or polished silver profiles for a clean, versatile appearance.
Why Choose a 1700mm Sliding Shower Door?
A 1700mm sliding door can transform a wide alcove into a generous shower enclosure without introducing a large outward-opening panel. This helps preserve usable floor space in front of the shower.
Sliding access can be particularly useful where bathroom furniture, a basin, toilet, radiator or towel rail is positioned near the shower entrance.
1700mm Is the Nominal Size
The exact installation range varies between products. Measure the finished opening carefully and compare every measurement with the minimum and maximum adjustment stated on the individual product page.

Measure Before Ordering
Measure the finished shower opening between the tiled walls at the bottom, middle and top. Record all three measurements to identify any variation caused by walls that are slightly out of true.
- Measure the opening at shower-tray level.
- Repeat the measurement halfway up the wall.
- Measure again at the planned top of the shower door.
- Confirm that every measurement falls within the stated adjustment range.
- Check the available height and the usable door opening.
Important: Do not select a shower door using the nominal 1700mm size alone. Crown, Lakes and Hudson Reed products can have different fitting ranges.
Recess or Corner Installation
A 1700mm sliding door can be fitted across a suitable recessed opening. Selected products may also be paired with a compatible side panel to form a rectangular corner enclosure.
If adding a side panel or shower tray, verify that every selected component is compatible. The door adjustment range may change when it is used with a side panel.
Chrome and Polished Silver Styling
The current 1700mm sliding-door collection uses chrome or polished silver profiles. These bright metallic finishes coordinate with a wide variety of taps, handles, shower controls and bathroom accessories.
